From a horticultural background and 4 years at sea. Ganesh Bruce travelled for 10 years working with community and refugee projects in India and teaching in Japan. ON return home he has become fully involved with ecological and environmental projects both in school and the private sector. Increased personal resources and facilities have enabled him to run a wide range of activities and willow workshops throughout the year. He has worked in various County, conservation, wildlife and agricultural groups in West & East Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and London. He is a published author in the realms of ecology and pilgrimage.

Elaine is married to Ganesh, they have been together for 8 years, they have three children. Elaine does work along side Ganesh on some Living Willow Projects but mostly gets involved on the Willow Craft and Apple Pressing Workshops in schools and the Willow workshops they hold at their home studio. She has a secretarial background and has proved pretty useful as administrator/PA/Chief Cook & Bottle Washer all rolled into one!

After 27 years as Department and Year Head in London and Hampshire schools Geoff held the joint posts of Education Officer for the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum and the Goodwood Estate. He has worked closely with BTCV, the Sussex Down Conservation Board and the Chichester City, District and West Sussex Councils and considerable experience of working with school and community groups in the design, installation and management of environmental projects.
Ganesh and Geoff have worked together for 8 years.
